Player Pathway at The GOAT Farm Soccer Academy

 

Where development is earned, and every player has a purpose.

At The GOAT Farm, we’ve designed a club structure that puts player development first — giving every athlete the opportunity to train, grow, and earn their place through clear, progressive levels.

We are building a complete elite club model, culminating in GOAT Football Club (GOAT FC), our top-tier Academy program (Coming Soon), with clearly defined levels below it — including GOAT Juniors FC (local club teams), GOAT Premier FC (regional), and the invite-only GOAT Select FC showcase team.

The Little Herd (Ages 18 mos – 6 yrs)

Fun, movement, and early love for the game.  This is where it all begins.

Our early childhood program introduces movement, coordination, and fun through age-appropriate, play-based sessions.

  • Baby Goats (18 mos – 2.5 yrs): Parent & child discovery play

  • Little Goats (3–4 yrs): Independent classes with fun, soccer-themed games

  • Junior Goats (5–6 yrs): Intro to technical skills and team play

Junior Academy (U7–U8)

Where future GOATs begin.  The first step into structured training.

Our entry-level Academy program for players ages 7–8, designed to build technical ability, movement patterns, and soccer intelligence in young players.  Players will develop foundational skills, ball mastery, and awareness in a fun, age-appropriate training environment. This prepares them for formal training and future team placement at U9.

Development Academy (U9–U12)

Required entry point for all new players ages 9–12.

All players entering The GOAT Farm at age 9-12 begin in our Development Academy — a high-quality, training-only environment designed to build and master technical skill, confidence, decision-making, and game awareness.

Players are evaluated by our staff throughout the season and are placed into the competitive pathway that fits their development:

  • Structured training, no league play
  • Professional coaching with curriculum oversight
  • Regular evaluation for movement into:
    • Club Teams (local competition)
    • Premier Teams (launching 2026)
    • Academy Teams (future elite travel)

Club Teams (U9–U14)

Local competition with professional coaching.

Club Teams offer local league play (County) for players progressing from the Development Academy.
They provide valuable game experience and continued skill-building within a structured environment.

Premier Teams (U9–U18) — Launching 2026

Elevated competition. Development for serious players.

Our upcoming Premier Teams will offer a competitive bridge between Club Teams and Academy Teams.
These teams are ideal for serious players seeking challenging training, regional league experience, and are ready to push toward higher levels.

  • Prepares players for the intensity of Academy Teams

  • College-prep support begins at U15

Academy Teams (U13–U19) — Coming Soon

Top-tier travel teams. Elite development. College exposure.

Academy Teams will represent the highest and most advanced level of play at The GOAT Farm — designed for players ready to compete at the national level.
Our Academy Teams will feature advanced training, college recruiting support, and elite league placement.

The GOAT Football Select XI Team (U15–U18)

Our tournament-only showcase team.  Elite exposure without club conflict.

GOAT Football Select XI is an invite-only team that competes in top-level showcase tournaments.
This team will feature our best players — along with standout guests from other clubs — to maximize visibility and competition.
Ideal for college visibility and brand exposure at premier tournaments.

  • Invite-only roster

  • No season commitment

  • College showcases, ID events, and elite tournaments

  • Rostered via internal evaluation or coach invitation

Future GOAT Evaluation Events (U7–U18)

Discover. Train. Be evaluated.  No One-day tryouts.  Just opportunity earned.

We host multiple Future GOAT Evaluation Events throughout the year for players outside our system who are interested in joining the Academy pathway. These are not one-day tryouts. Instead, players train with GOAT Farm staff and may be invited to participate in a 1–2 week evaluation period within our training environment.

  • Spring and Summer ID Weeks
  • Mid-season and Winter evaluation sessions
