Player Development Academy (PDA)

The Player Development Academy (PDA) is a training-only program designed for motivated players who want to improve their technical ability, speed of play, and overall readiness for higher-level soccer environments.

PDA also serves as The GOAT Farm Soccer Academy’s primary evaluation and placement pathway for team opportunities, where appropriate.

This program bridges the gap between introductory development programs and competitive team environments.

Who PDA Is For

PDA is designed for players who:

  • Are ready for focused, intentional training

  • Want to improve technical quality and decision-making

  • Are preparing for competitive team environments

  • Benefit from structured feedback and evaluation

Players are grouped by age and developmental readiness to ensure the appropriate training pace and learning environment.

Program Philosophy

The Player Development Academy is built around one core principle:

Train first. Evaluate continuously. Place intentionally.

PDA allows players to develop without the immediate pressure of team placement, while giving coaches the ability to make informed, development-first decisions.

This structure protects training quality, supports long-term growth, and ensures players are placed in environments where they can succeed.

Training Structure

PDA follows a structured weekly (2x/week) model that balances development and evaluation.

PDA-only training sessions focused on technical development and decision-making
Selective team integration opportunities for evaluation purposes
• Grouping based on age and readiness, not just birth year

Not all players will participate in team training. Team integration is invite-only and determined by readiness, consistency, and performance.

Training Focus

PDA sessions emphasize:

• Ball mastery and first touch
• Playing under pressure
• Speed of play and awareness
• Decision-making in small-group environments
• High-repetition, purposeful training
• Ongoing evaluation and feedback

This environment allows players to build confidence, consistency, and composure on the ball.

Evaluation & Team Placement

Participation in PDA does not guarantee team placement.

Team training opportunities and placements are:

  • Invite-only

  • Based on technical readiness and consistency

  • Determined through ongoing observation and evaluation

PDA provides clarity and transparency for families while allowing coaches to maintain training quality across all teams.

Tuition & Commitment

PDA operates on a monthly tuition model.

• Monthly tuition: $100 per month
• Three-month season commitment ($300 total)

Payment Options:
• Pay in full
• Monthly installment plan (must be selected during registration)

Current pricing and registration details are available through the registration link.

Communication

All schedules, updates, reminders, and announcements are communicated through TeamSnap.
Families are required to download the app and enable notifications.
